The Victoria Hotel is located in a very walkable area. Just about 10-15 minutes on foot from the hotel is Flower City Plaza (Huacheng Square), an enormous pedestrian park surrounded by skyscrapers IFC and CTF among others. This shall be the best place to have an evening stroll while gazing at a lit-up Canton Tower.

Within just a short five-to-ten-minute walk are major shopping malls such as Grandview Mall and TeeMall with hundreds of shops and restaurants inside to suit every taste. For the culture lover, spectacularly housed just a short walk away is the Guangzhou Opera House or Library, both buildings boasting architecture as interesting as what they contain. There are several 24-hour convenience stores (FamilyMart, 7-Eleven) nearby, along with coffee shops (Starbucks), making staying here very easy.
